Go on an epic hunt for hidden keys for your chance to unlock a prize! The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District (FORPD) will hide over four hundred (400) keys throughout all FORPD parks (please note that Village and Plaza parks will not be included due to ongoing construction). Several lucky keys will unlock a prize. Search often as keys will not be hidden all at once but over time.

How To Turn In Your Keys

Bring your key(s) and see if you've won, on Thursday, July 9 between the times of 5p-7p in Village Park Plaza. Please, no more than 10 keys per person/family. Sorry, this will be the only date/time to test your key, if you are unable to attend yourself, we suggest asking a friend.

Come support the next generation of entrepreneurs at the Kids’ Big Business Expo! Young innovators, ages 5–17, will host their own booths, showcasing creative products, services, and ideas. This is your chance to shop local, encourage young talent, and cheer on our community’s upcoming business stars. Bring the whole family and discover the big ideas of these amazing kids! The W.O.W (Wonderful Outdoor World) Bus is getting kids back outdoors! Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District is proud to announce the arrival of The W.O.W Bus to a park near you!

This free program brings children and families of the community together through a variety of activities. Group games and artistic skills will be encouraged. There are plenty of fun activities to go around, and there are Recreation Leaders on hand to provide direction to the children and get them engaged and interested in something they may not have tried before!

It’s a family-friendly fun run like no other, where laughter and silliness reign supreme! After the run, cool off with a refreshing ice cream treat. 

Jessica Malone is a Northern California singer-songwriter and Fair Oaks local whose music lives in the space between tenderness and grit—equal parts dust-covered poetry and warm, soulful resonance. Blending folk, soul, and Americana with a touch of indie spirit, her sound draws comparisons to artists like Brandi Carlile, Norah Jones, and Joni Mitchell, while remaining uniquely her own.

Fresh off recording in Nashville, Jessica brings her music to the stage with a powerful full-band performance, moving effortlessly between quiet vulnerability and soaring, soul-stirring moments that captivate audiences.

A multiple-time SAMMIES (Sacramento Music Awards) winner, including Artist of the Year and Singer-Songwriter of the Year, Jessica has performed at festivals such as BottleRock, Live Oak Music Festival, and the Whole Earth Festival, and has appeared on renowned stages including the Harris Center and the Mondavi Center. She has also opened for artists like John Paul White and Arlo Guthrie.

High School Musical – Youth Summer Production with Valkyrie Theatre Company

Get your head in the game this summer with High School Musical—a high-energy, feel-good production brought to life by the talented performers of Valkyrie Theatre Company’s summer theatre camp.

Hosted at the Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center, this production takes place in our Veteran's Memorial Amphitheatre.

Over the course of this immersive program, students work with professional theatre artists to develop skills in acting, singing, and choreography, building confidence and stage presence in a fun, collaborative environment. The camp culminates in fully staged live performances, showcasing the hard work, creativity, and growth of each participant.

Based on the hit Disney Channel movie, High School Musical follows Troy, Gabriella, and the students of East High as they navigate friendships, identity, and the courage to break out of expectations—all set to an unforgettable pop-rock score.
