About Sacramento Waldorf School
Founded in 1959, Sacramento Waldorf School is one of the oldest Waldorf schools in the western United States. We provide a complete academic curriculum that develops the creative and critical thinking abilities of each student. In addition to academics, we cultivate in our students a reverence for the world, respect for life, and a lifelong love of education.
At the Sacramento Waldorf School, we prepare students to realize their highest potential as free human beings.
We accomplish our mission by recognizing each student as a unique individual with body, soul, and spirit. We offer academic, artistic, and experiential education based on the insights and pedagogy of Rudolf Steiner, which is a holistic approach that meets the needs of the developing child.
Our International Program is for high school students from outside the United States who are interested in a three or four-year program, and who intend to graduate from our high school. We welcome applications from international students and value the cultural diversity and individual gifts our current international students bring to the student body.
We encourage students who are bright, inquisitive, imaginative, and compassionate to apply. We currently have students attending from China, Malaysia, and Taiwan. We especially encourage students to apply from our sister Waldorf schools worldwide.
We do not accept applications from agents.
